DAY 1: CAN DUOC - MY THO - CAI BE (L, D)
08h00 ,Pick up at hotel in Saigon then route for Can Duoc (35km). Then embarking our boat .Depart for Cho Gao. Leisurely cruise down the Mekong River while enyoying the beautiful scenery. Lunch on board.
Arrive in Cho Gao. Walking around the local market .
In My Tho. Visit the Thoi Son island, walk throught the island, trying native fruits viewing local handicraft production and meeting the local people.Then take a brief sampan ride throught palm-shaded creeks. Then embarking in Mien Tay boat (13h00). Lunch on board. Then boat depart for Cai Be, the magnificent sunset on the river. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 2: CAI BE - SA DEC - LONG XUYEN (B, L, D)
After breakfast. Explore the lively Cai Be floating market in early morning. Walking for visit the handicraft village of the local people. Sightseeing the old house and sample various tropical fruits. Boat flowing to LONG XUYEN via SA DEC , walking for visit Sa Dec town, where Margueritte Duras's famous novel Lover was set and made famous by the film L’Amant, the Marguerite Duras story and explore this town. Visit a bonsai garden.and the local market. Lunch on board. Cruise continue to Long Xuyen. Leisurely cruise up the Mekong River while enyoying the beautiful scenery and the aperitifs and sunset cruise. Dinner and Nite on board in LONGXUYEN.
DAY 3: LONG XUYEN - CHO MOI - CHAU DOC (B, L, D)
Rising up early for another nice day we contemplate sunrise while having breakfast on board. Visit Long Xuyen floating market by small boats intermingled through the water as vendors buy and sell their fruit. Visit a crocodile farm and promenade on Ong Ho island, see daily life of the local people who live on both sides of the Mekong (Bassac river), and small arroyos on the island. Noon approaching we return to Mien Tay boat and carry on our journey to Hoa Hao village. Lunch on board. Disembark and head to Chau Doc. Tonight we stay overnight at Victoria Chau Doc hotel in Chau doc. (Hotel ***).
DAY 4: CHAU DOC TO HA TIEN (B, L, D)
We head south to Ha Tien, following the route of the ancient Vinh Te Canal. We stop at the Ba Chuc pagoda along the way with its well-known Bone Pagoda. Once in Ha Tien, we explore the coastal rock formations or can relax on quiet beaches. Overnight in Ha Tien.(HOTEL ***).
DAY 5: HA TIEN TO PHU QUOC (B)
Today, we take a boat to the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, a tropical paradise off the coast of Cambodia. We leave guests free here for relaxation and swimming. Other options include exploring the island by bicycle or taking a dive into the rich waters here. Resort***
DAY 6: RELAXING ON PHU QUOC (B)
We leave today free to enjoy the empty beaches on Phu Quoc, a well-earned spot of rest and relaxation before the next stage of your journey. Fresh seafood barbecue and overnight on Phu Quoc (resort ***).
Day 7: PHU QUOC - RETURN TO SAIGON BY PLANE (B)
Today, we fly back to Saigon for guests to make their onward connections. |
